“Nooit had ik gedacht dat een sjaal mij zo zou overtuigen.”

– Eduard M., eigenaar van een kleine detailwerkplaats in Noordrijn-Westfalen. Ik zal eerlijk zijn: ik zit al meer dan 15 jaar in de detailbranche. Ik heb doeken gezien die er na twee wasbeurten uitzagen als vloermatten. Andere verspreidden meer pluisjes dan ze absorbeerden. Toen een collega me de BERNER Super Soft microvezeldoek aanraadde, dacht ik: "Kom op, wéér zo'n gehypte doeken." Maar ik probeerde het. En wat kan ik zeggen? Ik was bezig met een oudere auto van een klant – een zwarte BMW 5 Serie, licht verweerde lak, altijd lastig streeploos te verwijderen na het polijsten. Ik gebruikte de BERNER doek – in eerste instantie positief: geen ingenaaid label, alles schoon, zacht, ligt prettig in de hand. Toen de eerste beweging over de lak... en ik dacht echt: "Wacht eens even... dat was te makkelijk." Geen strepen. Geen wrijving. Gewoon een spiegelglans. Ik heb het op de overige oppervlakken getest – hetzelfde resultaat. De doek absorbeert poetsresten extreem goed, duwt niets heen en weer, maar trekt het er zo af. En hij is pluis- en krasvrij – wat anders echt cruciaal is bij donkere verf. Wat ik ook fijn vind: – Hij wast heel goed uit – Trekt niet krom – Behoudt zijn vorm na meerdere wasbeurten – En je kunt het stomme waslabel er zo aftrekken – klinkt triviaal, maar het heeft me al meer dan eens voor krassen behoed. Conclusie: ik heb er meteen een paar bijbesteld. Ik gebruik ze nu voor de afwerking – waar het echt om draait. Als je ook maar een beetje trots bent op je werk, wil je het juiste gereedschap hebben. En vanaf nu is dit er eentje voor mij.
