Processing information

The vapor barrier VB2 can be installed both lengthwise and crosswise to the substructure. When renovating from the outside, installation is carried out parallel to the eaves. The printed smooth side must face the processor. The overlap between the strips is at least 10 cm (see overlap marking). Lay the membrane without tension and fasten it at a maximum distance of 30 cm. Joints with sealing tape or diffusion band glue. Penetrations with air sealing sleeves or connection tape or diffusion tape seal.Glue to masonry and plaster levels using foil adhesive with a relief loop. Airtightness must be ensured for all indoor bonding. When laying in a trough as a renovation vapor barrier from the outside, an airspace-free connection on the side of the rafters must be ensured by gluing or using trellis battens. When used outdoors, tape joints with diffusion tape.
