If the surface is covered with a (hydrophobic) coating or another substance, it is necessary to sand the surface a little with a grinding tool or sand paper to increase the overall adhesion
In case of bonding large surfaces such as drywall or OSB, the adhesive should cover ≥ 5 % of the bonding surface. In case of bonding small decorative elements, the adhesive should cover ≥ 50 % of bonding surface
In the case of bonding elements to the ceiling or vertical surface, the elements must be temporarily fixed in place until they reach the grip
Recommended joint thickness is ≤ 10 mm. It is necessary to level the surface when unevenness exceeds 1 cm
If the can is too cold, it should be brought to room temperature, e.g. by immersion in warm water with temperature up to 30 °C or leaving it in room temperature for at least 24 h
Avoid that the application temperature is lower than the can temperature
It is recommend to use mechanical connectors and distances
Protect against UV with e.g. plaster, paint
Open package should be used within 1 week
The product does not adhere to polyethylene, polypropylene, polyamide, silicones and teflon
Use the BERNER Pistol Cleaner to remove uncured adhesive. Hardened adhesive can be removed mechanically (e.g. with a knife) or with the BERNER PU foam fighter
The adhesive should not be used in spaces without access of fresh air and poorly ventilated rooms, or in places exposed to direct sunlight
