Attache the application nozzle to the tip of the pistol
Remove dust, loose parts and grease from the substrate
Moisten dry substrate ensure better results
Protect the surrounding surfaces with paper or plastic foils
Shake the can min 20 sec
Screw the gun to the upright positioned foam can
Rotate the nozzle as needed (horizontal/vertical application)
Adjust the gun trigger due to the foam output
Apply the foam from a distance of approximately 40 cm from the surface (the shorter the distance to the substrate the narrow the application area)
Recommended thickness of one layer is ~ 2 cm
Second layer can be applied after 60 min / number of layers unlimited
The nozzle and the foam gun should be cleaned immediately after the job is finished with BERNER PU pistol cleaner
Advice
Uncured foam can be removed with PU-pistol cleaner
Cured foam could be removed with PU foam fighter or mechanically
The foam doesn´t adhere to PE, Silicon and Teflon
Cured foam is less sensitive than traditional PU foams to UV-light and sunlight but should be covered long term with suitable paints or sealants
The foam is not stable against long-lasting contact to water
Spray nozzle is compatible with most foam guns (not compatible with PTFE foam gun)
Lower application temperatures decrease yield and increase curing time
1 tin can provide approximately 1 m² of insulation with a thickness of 3 cm
